1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Fiwi Services (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users including customers, service providers (PROs), and visitors.

2. What Fiwi Services Is

Fiwi Services is a construction services marketplace that connects customers with verified local construction professionals across Jamaica. We are a platform, not a construction company. We facilitate the connection between customers and PROs, coordinate service delivery, and manage project communications.

While we take steps to verify PROs on our platform, we do not employ them directly. The quality, timeliness, and outcome of work is the responsibility of the assigned PRO.

3. Customer Responsibilities

• •Provide accurate and complete information when submitting a service inquiry.
• •Be available and responsive when our team or an assigned PRO contacts you.
• •Ensure safe access to the worksite for any inspections or service delivery.
• •Not misuse the platform by submitting false, duplicate, or fraudulent inquiries.
• •Treat all Fiwi Services staff and PROs with respect.

4. PRO (Service Provider) Responsibilities

• •Provide accurate information when registering, including trade, location, and contact details.
• •Respond to assigned leads promptly and professionally.
• •Deliver services to the agreed standard and within the agreed timeframe.
• •Maintain all required licences, insurance, and qualifications for your trade.
• •Not solicit customers to bypass the Fiwi Services platform for future work.
• •Keep your availability status up to date on your dashboard.

5. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. Fiwi Services reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms or is used for fraudulent activity.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use this platform.

6. Inquiries and Matching

Submitting an inquiry is free and does not guarantee that a PRO will be available. We match inquiries with available PROs based on trade, location, and service radius. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any inquiry at our discretion.

Quotes provided through the platform are estimates. Final pricing is agreed between the customer and the PRO before work begins.

7. Ratings and Reviews

Customers may leave ratings and reviews after a job is completed. Reviews must be honest and based on actual experience. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are false, abusive, or in violation of these terms. PROs may not incentivise or coerce customers to leave positive reviews.

8. Limitation of Liability

Fiwi Services acts as an intermediary platform. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• •The quality, safety, or legality of services performed by PROs.
• •Any property damage, personal injury, or financial loss arising from services arranged through the platform.
• •Delays, cancellations, or non-performance by a PRO.
• •Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Fiwi Services platform — including the logo, design, text, and code — is owned by Fiwi Services and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of this platform without written permission.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when changes are made.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jamaica.
